In our last meeting, the designer had told me the dates in which he would be finished making and putting together the final touches to the product, and so when this came around I got in contact with him and he was able to send over his presentation boards of the shaving tool box. The visualisation of the product has helped me greatly in being able to better understand what it is, how it will function and the aesthetics of it, which will go on to help me develop the full brand which the product will sit within.

From the images it is clear how there is an emphasis on minimalist design as the product is simple and straightforward with no unnecessary or 'fussy' design elements, the items inside also reflect this with the raw shapes that give across a masculine attitude. There materials that the product is made out of also play a big role in the overall design and so I think these will have to be emphasised in the marketing of the product as it makes it stand out a lot, the hand-crafted look is also quite unique and gives it a high quality and authentic association. Overall being able to visually see the product and all the elements that go in to it has given me a greater understanding of how it might be marketed and how the brand will come together as there is a clearer direction to go down. Going forward, in terms of visuals, I think it would be a good idea to be able to meet up with the designer once more, be able to see the product in person and possibly borrow it to take some photographs myself for use within my report and brand book to be consistent in style and portray the brand identity, once it has been developed.
